Life Partner

Life Partner is a 2009 Bollywood film. The film is directed and written by Rumi Jaffrey. It stars Govinda, Genelia D'Souza, Prachi Desai, Fardeen Khan and Tusshar Kapoor in lead roles. The film is produced by Abbas Mustan.

Synopsis
Life Partner is a comedy based on the institution of marriage. The film is about three close friends, each one having a different perspective about marriage. Govinda plays a divorce lawyer in the film who doesn't believe in marriage and is a Casanova of sorts. Fardeen Khan plays a character for whom being in love matters most and Genelia D'Souza plays his love interest. Tusshar Kapoor plays a Gujarati who believes in the system of arranged marriage and Prachi Desai plays his Gujarati wife
Life Partner netted Rs. 1.75 crore (US$ 360,500) overseas in its opening week[2] while it netted Rs. 18 crore (US$ 3.71 million) domestically by the third week
